Julner's art captures images of Haitian life, from those of people in
everyday acts to images of celebration. His preferred medium is acrylic
on canvas, he also paints in watercolor.
Another aspect of Julner's art is his Icon painting. His icons are prepared
with wooden boards, linen and gesso. After sanding layers of gesso to
a smooth finish Julner paints his image onto the board. All icons are
finished with varnish.
